Gordon oversaw the military benefits operations for seven years at UT Arlington, where he was successful in receiving approvals for both degreed and non-degree programs. Gordon's mission is to help military professionals utilize benefits such as tuition assistance, the GI Bill, and vocational rehabilitation to advance their education and transition into new careers. "It is my goal to place every eligible soldier and dependent in a qualified program," said Gordon. "Education is the key to access, and that access is to promotions, careers and a better way of life!"

For more than three years, Carpenter worked diligently as a student and an employee at the University of Texas at Arlington in the Veteran Affairs department. On December 11, 2004, he graduated from UT Arlington with a B.B.A. in Marketing and has since found success in the health and fitness industry. Carpenter's goal is to assist all military members and their dependents with the maximum use of their educational benefits, so that they may reach their highest potential. Aim high!

Jacob B. Mclendon

Jacob started off in sales, in his younger years, selling security systems and conducting the installs for a family owned company, Certified Electronics. It was tough work, but nothing like what was in his near future. Jacob then joined the Army in December, 1999 where he went into Army Intelligence serving in South Korea and North Carolina. He spent time in Korea serving as an intelligence liaison between 8th US Army and the South Korean military. While in Korea, he received joint medals from both the US and Korean side for outstanding service. In North Carolina, he served under 18th Airborne Corps servicing the Corps Commander request for intelligence. The Army is where he picked up his core values and gave him discipline to help drive his own personal success. After the military, Jacob finished up his international business degree at the University of Texas Arlington. It was at the Veteran Affairs office at UT Arlington where Jacob met Haywood Gordon and Eric Carpenter, while working together to help service veterans like themselves. It was there that they learned how to streamline the process to make veterans education become user friendly and ultimately help other veterans become successful. Jacob lives in Dallas with his fiancé, Marisa Walker and enjoys golf, baseball, and traveling.
